Building Radiant Resilience
Train With Your Body
-
Period Power
It’s not taboo. Teaching women to pay attention to their body and educate them about their period, to notice when the feel good and when they feel off, enables women to make informed decisions to promote optimal training and feel good across their cycle.

The Energy Tank
There’s a fraught relationship between food, sports, and body image. But without proper education about nutrition, around 88% of women don’t meet their daily energy needs, resulting in more stress and inflammation in the body, impacting long term health and performance.
Coach’s Corner
Ladies, you are absolutely right!
I don’t have the lived experience of period cramps, body image struggles, unwanted attention, stereotypes, and marginalization. What do I know about building radiant resilience, your body, your goals, or the obstacles standing between you and your desires? It’s a fair question. And I invite you to question and find out for yourself.
There is a systemic problem across sports and fitness.
Athletes at every level, even at the professional and Olympic level, look for any competitive advantage they can find. From biomechanics, pre- and post-workout nutrition, bowel movements, and sports psychology, women turn over every stone with their coaches and trainers. But mention menstrual cycle or PMS symptoms and conversations shut down and women are ignored and disregarded. It can feel awkward discussing female physiology-related issues with coaches who are men that don’t appreciate the lived experience of these hormonal changes. This needs to change.
We haven’t created a safe space for women…
To train with their bodies, focusing on over-all health and wellness, as they move towards current and future goals without sacrificing her wellbeing or confidence. “Every woman deserves the considerable physical, mental, and emotional benefits of exercise…” - LaJean Lawson, Sports Bra Innovator.
To fully express themselves in sports and fitness.
As a coach, I don’t have all the answers or solutions, that’s not the mission. My goal is to create a safe space for women to express themselves fully, without fear of judgement or exclusion, as athletes, wives, mothers, and leaders, exploring their potential and answer the question: “Did I give my all?”
What happens if we gave everyone better access to information?
Not just for the women hungry to explore their potential, but to the men in their lives, the friends cheering them on, and the coaches helping them navigate the unique challenges and demands of their sport.
When we work to provide a more inclusive frame of reference…
Women have better access to training, protocols, research, even clothing and gear, helping women get involved, stay involved, and achieve incredible feats. So let’s run along side her, cheer her on, and watch as she smashes long-held beliefs about what she can or cannot achieve!
